Da azienda a casa privata, per trasformarsi, infine, un innovativo relais completamente bio.
Un crinale ricoperto da filari di vite terrazzati, una cascina dismessa e intorno solo boschi: una fotografia molto lontana da quello che oggi è l’AgriBioRelais Colletto, un luogo divenuto tale grazie all’impegno e alla passione di un imprenditore locale, Duilio Picchi. “Quando mi hanno mostrato la proprietà in cerca di una soluzione, non ho avuto dubbi: aveva tutte le caratteristiche per diventare un relais all’avanguardia sia dal punto di vista dell’accoglienza che dell’offerta di prodotti. I vigneti alloggiavano su terreni ricchi di ferro, con substrati calcarei-marnosi, completamente esposti a sud e con un importate sbalzo termico tra notte e giorno: si poteva fare un buon vino, ma soprattutto si poteva riqualificare la zona con vini di livello non ancora sperimentati”.
E così è stato: di lì a pochi anni la cascina è diventata dapprima un’abitazione privata dedita alla produzione di vini spumanti biologici, il Blanc de Blanc e il Rosè, una rarità nella provincia di Bergamo, contrariamente a quanto accade nella vicina Franciacorta; e successivamente un vero relais-agriturismo con 9 camere perfettamente integrate tra viti e bosco, realizzate con materiali naturali e immerse nel silenzio. Una cucina semplice che si avvale dei prodotti dell’orto, dell’olio di casa e ovviamente dei vini Colletto, amata da un pubblico prevalentemente internazionale, ma da qualche tempo anche locale: perché non sempre è necessario attraversare il mondo (o fare semplicemente tanti chilometri) per godersi un’oasi di vero relax.
